11. LAS VEGAS CONVENTION GOERS! We need to meet to discuss, whether you want to order show tickets for VEGAS performances, mascots, use "red/purple TIES," roommates, and resolve any other questions. 12. Sat., Mar. 26, 10:00 AM, (Day before Easter) Easter Egg Hunt for your children, grandchildren, great, greats! Ages 2-10 at Connelly Park in Queen Jan's neighborhood. (Spyglass Trail East and Bevra Aves.) Wear your spring bonnet and wear our colors! Bring camera and child needs to bring own basket. Easter Bunny arrives in Model T promptly at 10:00 AM. Photo ops with Bunny. Relay games by ages. They go on walk, then adults hide the plastic eggs filled with candy, coins, and coupons. Little punch cups and cookies for all. Have you made your camping reservations for Lake Casitas on May 20-21?

1. Fri., Apr., 1, "Surprise Breakfast!" Meet at Queen Jan's clubhouse parking lot to carpool after group photos taken to a "surprise location" to have breakfast in a restaurant dressed in OUR COLORS, pjs, robes, caftans, slippers, nitecaps, wigs, curlers, and carrying a FAVORITE STUFFED ANIMAL! Afterwards, we are WALKING in group to another location for shopping and photo ops! It is April Fool's Day and I just couldn't pass this up! I have different fun favors for you to choose out of a bag. (Choose by feel!) If you need laughing, this is it! Berry Best members only.

2. "Gourmet Lunch Dining" at Oxnard College, Fri. April 8, 15, 22, 29, May 6, and 13. Tables reserved and seats are already filled. Questions? Call Ruthe: . If you are unable to go, YOU must call hatter to fill your seat. 11:30 AM in Room OE11, dressed in our finest colors and manners.

3. Sat., Apr. 9, 11-5 PM, "Tea Boutique" at Lee A.'s home in Camarillo. Drop in and find the "Berry Best" accessories for sale and have light refreshments. Only hatter vendors are invited to sell from all over the southland! Call up your other hatter friends who would appreciate this social. Invitations were sent out by email. 3. Mon., Apr. 11, 4:30 PM, "Fresh Choice" for our April dinner.

4. Wed., Apr. 13, take the TRAIN to Fullerton to shop in the "Imperium!" Marianne and Terri N. have planned this adventure. You will EACH need to buy your ticket beforehand. (I will go 2 days before.) Regular ticket rndtrip. is $34. Purple Perks members have discount, also a senior discount for age 62 and up. Photo ID recquired to purchase your own ticket. Train leaves Oxnard at 7:40 AM and arrives in Fullerton at 10:12 AM. Return trip leaves Fullerton at 2:08 PM and gets back to Oxnard at 4:21 PM. New items I have never seen before! You are the first and best!

9. Mon., Apr. 25, The Offical International Red Hat Society Day! We need to be seen out and about! See Queen Jan to plan carpool drive to the Oaks Mall to eat at the Cheesecake Factory! (Appetizers and desserts?) Join with other chapters for the afternoon? I wish we had a RED double-decker bus like the valley hatters are using, to cruise Ventura Blvd. that day! (They've already sold-out.) I welcome your ideas to plan with me.

We will meet at food court about 11:15 AM to get tables for lunch and meeting other hatters near Build Your Own Strawberry Shortcake tent. We should wear at least one strawberry piece of jewelry to identify us wearing our colors, too! Remember the huge berry necklace? Jewelry for sale from Gail and Lee, also. (I am trying to contact and locate the 2005 pins logos for our Las Vegas conventioneers.)

4. Wed., May 18, 11:30 AM, meet on 2nd floor food court of Pacific View Mall for lunch and chit-chat. Especially to talk about our camping trip to Lake Casitas day after tomorrow!
